On December 3rd, Prof. Piero Baglioni and CSGI researcher Andrea Casini attenced the #ACTGREENER study day on conservation, restoration and sustainability, held at the National Museum of Medieval and Modern Art in Arezzo.
The day was marked by engaging debates aimed at promoting a comprehensive and coherent vision of sustainability in conservation practices. Prof. Baglioni delivered a talk titled “Green and Sustainable Materials for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.” His talk highlighted the significant role of Green Chemistry, which lies at the core of CSGI’s research activities, and its impact on the latest biotechnological innovations in the formulation and application of alternative materials for cultural heritage conservation.
