Prof. Piero Baglioni participated to the 12th World Surfactant Congress which was held in Rome on June 5th-7th June 2023. CESIO is the European association representing producers of surfactants and intermediates. Every 4 years, the association organizes the CESIO World Surfactant Congress and provides a unique opportunity for partners and contacts across the surfactants value chain to meet. The theme for this edition was: “Surfactants – High Performance Solutions for a Better World”. This event represented the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest developments in key areas such as Business & Market Trends, Safety & Regulatory affairs and Technical & Applications. Prof Baglioni was invited to illustrate the use of Surfactants, Micro-emulsions and Complex fluids for the cleaning of Art Masterpieces.
