CSGI is pleased to share with you the ARTICLE published on 1st September 2023, in the first page of the daily newspaper "Corriere della Sera" which recounted the experience of Professor Paolo Bergese, 48, professor of Chemistry at the University of Brescia (Italy), who has been a keen skater since he was twelve years old, at the Moca in Brescia, held a conference entitled «Skateare la scienza», as part of a festival promoted by the association «Rest in Chill».
During the conference, he talked about the parallels between the lifestyle of the skate and that of scientific research stressing that even the good researcher, as well as the skater, moves putting together disciplines sometimes very different to bring out something new. He also recalled that also quantum mechanics is a continuous use of information in a different way.
Professor Bergese is CSGI Member and Coordinator of the BOW Project. The main objective of BOW is to create hybrid magnetic nanoparticles with a membrane surface made from an extracellular vesicle.
