1991: Degree in Chemistry at the University of Messina. Thesis title "Sistemi diazinici condensati: studi strutturali su isossazolossadiazolo pirimidoni e piridazine".

1995: PhD in Chemistry. Thesis title: ”Proprietà coordinanti della ditiossammide”

2005: Researcher at the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University of Bergamo.
