Full Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine since 2021 at the School of Medicine of the University of Bari-Aldo Moro, Interdisciplinary Department of Medicine. PH.D. in \"Infectious Diseases\". He has worked on several projects funded by MIUR and the Ministry of Health. Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Epidemiology-UOC Hygiene, Policlinico Hospital of Bari. Coordinator of the Degree Courses of the Health Professions (SNT04). Member of the Ph.D. teaching board: \"PUBLIC HEALTH, CLINICAL MEDICINE AND ONCOLOGY\" and previously \"ANIMAL HEALTH AND ZOONOSES\". Main research areas: epidemiology, public health, vaccination, surveillance and molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases, health emergencies. Teaching activity in three-year degree courses of the Health Professions of the School of Medicine and the Degree Course in Dentistry, Bachelor’s degree of the Department of Pharmacy-Medicine Sciences and Schools of Specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine of the University of Bari and Community Medicine and Primary Care. Member of the scientific group \"Data and Surveillance\" at Istituto Superiore di Sanità. Member of the Working Group \"Feasibility of HIV/AIDS national platform\". Member of the National Working Group for Viral Hepatitis at Ministry of Health. \"Regional Commission for HIV and AIDS interventions\" component. She is involved in several epidemiological and molecular surveillance activities at the Osservatorio Epidemiologico Regionale (OER Puglia). The h-index in November 2021 is 29.
