Curriculum Vitae

Chemist, from 1988 to 2020 he worked in the R&D department of Procter & Gamble, holding numerous leadership positions at various international locations. His final role was Senior Technical Director at P&G’s research center in Brussels, from 2015 to 2020. He led research and technological innovation teams at the international level; served as Project Leader in several projects funded by the European Union; managed collaborations with major multinational industrial partners; and was a member of Procter & Gamble’s European Technology Council. He is the author of over 200 international patents and several academic publications, and has been an invited lecturer in numerous courses and summer schools in Italy and abroad. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, where he also serves as Director of the “Grand Challenges” program, and a Visiting Research Fellow at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (Estonia).
