July 1999: Degree in Chemistry, at the University of Florence (110/110). Thesis itle: "Flame Spraying of Nano-compartmentalised systems".

Sep 1999-Jun 2000: CSGI fellowship on "Development of a Bio-Crude-Oil/Diesel Emulsion".

1999-present: Studies and research activity at: Laboratoire Léon Brillouin in Saclay (France);    IPNS, Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne, IL, USA);BENSC, Hahn-Meitner Institute in Berlin (Germany);ZFR, Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany).
