Curriculum Vitae

2003: Degree in Chemistry, at the University of Florence - LENS laboratory, (110 cum laude/110). Thesis title: "Study of the photo-induced reactivity of ethylene and hydrocarbons/H2O mixtures with diamond anvil cells".

2004-2006: PhD in Science for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Florence. Title: "Nanotechnology for artworks conservation". Advisor: Prof. P. Baglioni (University of Florence).

2007: 6 months post-Doc at the CSGI and Dept. of Chemistry of the University of Florence.

2007-2008: Post-doc entitled “Characterization of the physico-chemical reactions occurring inside films of paste glue, acrylics or vinyls. Representativity of the accelerated aging”, developed at the Centre de Restauration des Musées de France (C2RMF) of Paris, located at Palais Royal, Musée du Louvre, under the supervision of Michel Menu (head of the research department of C2RMF).

2010-present: Research fellow at the Dept. of Chemistry of the University of Florence.
